These are my personal rules for collaborations*collabs*. Please be sure to follow every one of these rules while doing a collab with me. I don't want to sound mean, but it will be a better and smoother process if we're both following each-other's rules. So, if you follow mine, I'll follow yours.
1.You must fill out the Collab Application below and send it to me. Then I will message you (either from e-mail or on FP) and tell you if I'd like to collab with you. Please don't get angry/upset if I don't accept you. I'm just, yanno, looking for the best.
2.The sharing of profits will be different for each auction. This depends on who is doing what. If I am doing the lineart and you the coloring, then the profits will be split 40/60*I getting the 40.* If you do the lineart and I the coloring, then it's 60/40. I usually don't do 50/50 splits.
3.The auction will not be held by just one of us. Of course one of us will post it, but both of us will bump the post, update bids, and post updates on rules/autos/end dates/ect.
4.If you do the lineart, PLEASE make sure that it is clean and that it is the finished product*of the lineart*. I really don't want to be sent a sketch that has just been scanned because then I am doing more work. Yes, I'm lazy, but if you do do this, then it will take out of your profits because I am doing more things. It is exactly the same for me. I usually won't send you a sketch unless you want me too, which, I hope, you don't want me to do.
5.If you color, it is almost certain that you will have to color several different variations of the tag for the auction. If you don't want to make pre-mades, then we'll just make them all customs, but you will still have to color different ones. So, make sure that you won't have to keep re-doing the shading/ect. for each tag. This will make the auction happen quicker and keep you from having to do so much.
6.The colorer of the tags will be expected to make each of us a tag to promote the auction. This will have to be done before the auction is posted.
I've been trying to make collabs more organized instead of just "Hey! Will you color this/can I color that!?" So, I created this form. Just fill this out and send it to any of the contacts below.
